Patient Intake Experience
We are excited to offer Phreesia as our patient intake software, designed to streamline your experience with us. Phreesia allows you to confirm appointments, input necessary information prior to your visit, and make secure payments—all conveniently through text or email, with no app required. Additionally, it helps us manage schedule changes, such as offering sooner appointments to new patients when cancellations occur, ensuring timely and efficient care. This user-friendly system saves you time and enhances your overall experience.
Cancellation Policy
Please be courteous and call promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. This time will be given to someone in need of treatment. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call 24 business hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another patient the opportunity to have access to timely medical care. Change in appointment by reschedule or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will be considered a “No Show”. You will receive a text message 5 days before your appointment with a link to manage your scheduling. Using this link, you can easily request to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Alternatively, you are always welcome to call us for assistance.
No Show Policy
Co-Pay Policy
All co-pays must be collected at the time of service or the patient will be required to reschedule. Lowcountry Lung and Critical Care willingly participates with many health plans and insurances and files charges with those plans as a courtesy. It is the patient’s full responsibility to pay any amount the insurance plan does not cover. This is to include any co-insurances and co-pays. Lowcountry Lung and Critical Care holds the right to collect these amounts at the time of service and expects patients to understand that they are responsible for these amounts and should not ask to be billed at a later date.
